Me and bbb35 thought it would be totally cool if we made a fusion out of our Crystal Gem OC, so he came up with the info and I drew the design…
So Diamond and Vanessa/Violet Spinel fuse together to make White Beryl. In this form they have the ability to stop time, travel through time and fly. Armed with a hook-scythe like staff, the two can charge it with green energy to deal devastating attacks. Lighting, and a unbreakable silver-barrier to block attacks.

The design looks great, but the powers are too over the top in my opinion. Maybe you could lower them? Like, instead of being able to fly, they can just jump very high and far like Garnet. And for the stopping time and traveling through time, maybe get rid of those, or just get rid of the traveling through time and limit the time stopping? Besides that, it's pretty good.

The art style is really pretty but some of her attacks are a bit op. Like being able to stop and go through time is a bit much. It's just constructive criticism, I actually really like this design. Keep up the good work!

Vanessa and Diamond aren't fusions so their fusion shouldn't be able to travel through time. If that was the case couldn't they work out their differences to , oh I don't know, stop Rose Quartz from dying?

Rose Quartz didn't exactly 'die' though, she gave her up her physical form to be able to give birth to Steven, meaning she gave up being able to talk, move and such to stay as her gem form which Steven currently has on him, reffering back to when she said that she would become a 'part of him' when she and Greg were recording a video for Steven to see. If White Beryl tried to undo this, then Steven would have never been born, meaning that there would be no 'Steven Universe' that ever existed at all, which is the name of the very show (and would lose all point since the Gems are also there to protect and train him to)

Rose giving up her physical form was just an example for what White Beryl can do, and you are right. I used that because the crystal gems miss her a lot, especially Pearl. Back with White Beryl's power to time travel, she could stop the nursery from being built, Stop Peridot form invading earth, win the gem war and much more we don't know about.

And she isn't, she's not a four year old girl who loves Disney. She is the best Crystal Gem, and that should only be allowed if your making your own story, Steven admires her when the others basically despise her. Her special power is to turn her whole body into diamond to defend attacks, but it is very painful. That doesn't make sense unless she is being a human shield, but she's to skinny to really defend from something big. Plus, Steven can heal and has two shields, the bubbles and Rose's shield.

It doesn't seem that hard to edit in the bio that it's outdated, does it? Plus, making her more powerful than the only ones we know of a species is a little overboard, since from the beginning it was apparent that Garnet was the strongest. And if she does have weaknesses, why doesn't she care enough to say what they are? Flaws don't always have to be bad, they flesh out a character more, and can be little quirks.

1) It says she's ONE of the most powerful gems. Besides, she may just be one of the most powerful. Not ALL Gems are as powerful as one another. :/
2) She's not really a Mary Sue? Her gem is her lip, which may be a bit of a problem for a Gem, disabling them from making certain emotions and such, but it's most likely not /impossible/. Gems can be anywhere on the body and can be in a variety of shapes, so..

1) one of the most powerful GEMS, not just the crystal gems, all of them. In my second link I quoted them saying that she is a powerful ally, read that over.
2) her lip gem can be an advantage because it looks like lipstick, and humans don't seem to question why there is a purple girl with some weird thing on her chest. Also, how does it disable emotions? If you are talking about moving your lips, I can provide links to other drawings with various emotions.

1) I read that. Obviously I understood. There's nothing wrong with that. Very powerful Gems do exist, and even though Diamond is a bit smaller and thinner than other Gems, that doesn't mean she can't be extremely powerful using agility and other defense/offense tactics.
2) If her entire lip were a gem, it'd have to stay in that one position, so if it were her top lip and the gem were shaped as if she were smiling, she couldn't frown. Her gem couldn't move like that. If her bottom lip were the gem, however, she would be able to make most expressions with ease, with the exception of opening her mouth too wide, puckering her lips, pushing out her lower lip, etc.

I meant properties of the gem deciding personality and design choices. Like how pearls have no cleavage, and Pearl doesn't either.
There's a search bar at the top of the screen, typing something down will make art appear related to it!! She comes up when searching "gemsona" and "Steven universe oc". I hate how everyone loves this disaster and no one brings up logical points!

Are you even listening to me? Pearl's signature weapon is a spear, yet she can wield swords. Pearl most likely used swords because she didn't know how to summon her weapon, seen in the flashback in sworn to the sword. Do yourself a favor and watch that episode again.

And you are right, I wouldn't complain if there is a diamond in the show. That's because they did it right with Yellow Diamond. Yellow Diamond is the main villain, the one behind the wars. Of course she will be powerful. Diamond the oc is just a normal Crystal gem, she isn't on the same level of leadership as Garnet, yet look at her. She needs more flaws.
