What a cutie he was...the most beautiful man I've ever cn!! He has these incredible eyes that cm 2 look right in2 1's soul...almost as if he could c right through 1...haunting eyes...gotta draw those eyes again and again...Anyway, I hope this looks like him, first time I drew him...this drawing somewhat materialized on its own...it sort of just appeared on my paper as if Syd himself had drawn it 4 me
I loved the fact that he wrote music and drew!!!
Listened 2 The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn and found it 2 b weardly interesting...spychedelic and poetic...loved it! Still have 2 listen 2 his solo work...

I'm truly greatful for your kind words! And I still can't believe it either! That someone would buy my work...I wasn't joking...my mom and I are trying to sell prints and products with our art on them but it's difficult there are so many artists out there that your art gets drowned in a vast sea of talent...and no one sees your art...it's depressing! Great choice! I loved that picture right away...first time I saw it...love at first sight...I felt really superficial too...that's how I became a fan of his after I saw that photo.

In my case was after watching a documental of Pink Floyd. A live performance of Astronomy Domine from the 60s was shown and that was the first time I had seen Syd Barrett. He had such an attitude on stage, it was hard to forget. So I went to last fm and listened to his solo stuff. I was totally blown away.
Sure that I felt that I had no idea about Pink Floyd. XD

My mom was a BIG Pink Floyd fan and she'd play Dark Side of teh Moon and The Wall all the time but I never got into them..preferred the Beatles and Queen...and then I got her into Syd Barrett and now she hates Pink Floyd and loves Led Zeppelin LOL

LOL yeah...where would we be without them? Hopelessly ignorant is my guess. I never liked ABBA either...they're just too popular and annoying...I just don't get it! I do like Elvis though
