Description
Height 4 foot 6 inchesDex Entry: Saberoar are a strange breed of fighting pokemon. Rather than using fists or feet, Saberoar tend more towards using headbutts and their tail as a giant fist. Trainers often find this pokemon highly arrogant, and sometimes prone to ignoring commands. Its skill in battle can easily offset this trait, making it a worthy member of a team.
Evolves from Persian after using ROAR, while holding Ancient Tooth.
name origin is a combination of Saber(tooth) & Roar.

very nice work. I always thought meowth needed another evolution and had a similar idea in my head (but mine looked more like a saber-tooth golden lion which was a Light type). this is really cool though

By use Roar do you mean learn Roar. Also, Guhat has a lot of prehistoric concept pokemon.

No, it means use the attack Roar.
And yes it does. Guhat is mostly desert...fossils are often found in the desert. Alot of the prehistoric-fied evolutions like Saberoar and whatnot are triggered by remnants of the ancestors of current pokemon (fossils) which are found in Guhat.
Guhat also has a rather advanced fossil reviving program because of its abundance of fossils. The starter pokemon are all mass-revived fossils.

So these pokemon were revived from fossils and became wild, then started laying eggs in the wild. And I'm refering to the starters. Also search Pokedex Version 6.0.

I can't see this as an evolution of Persian, but more so as a side evolution like how Ralts evolves into either Gerdevoir or Gallade based on gender. The reason why is because in the Persian stage, you get rid of any brown colored areas that are traited to Meowth. The tail also looses its curled look. I can't see the third evolution in a line reverting to some Meowth traits.
As I said before, this would be better to be more of a separate evolution rather than a continuation past Persian.

Whereas the brown portions bit is true, the tail actually does stay curled as Persian
Also, keep in mind, its an evolution thats recalling ancestral traits...basically a modern pokemon evolving into a fossil pokemon
And due to that nature of evolution, it wouldn't make any more sense for it to be male or female specific, or any other kind of split, rather than it would for it to just be an item-triggered evolution of Persian.
Given the nature of the evolution I think its fine
