It's rare that I see religious art done in such a light hearted manner. It's a bit jarring at first, but it is very pleasant to observe.

Yep, the little girl saying "Cute sheep guys" is one of the reoccurring characters throughout the calendar that comments on the picture and theme for that month. I drew her in a slightly different style to the characters in the picture and put a white outline and drop shadow on her to show that she is not part of the actual biblical scene
