Sketch from a couple months ago. I figure Boarski is rowdy and irascible, but that would depend on your alliance. Seems like he'd be a handy, down-and-dirty Douglas kind of guy - avuncular, genuinely caring about his comrades (as opposed to say, Warfly) but incredibly short-tempered.

I like to write notes to myself for future reference about personality (and record my own personal interpretation) and design quirks - even if I'm not planning to do anything special with them.

It may seem like I like X7, but I really don't. That said, I'm fond of the ragtag bunch of bosses we got. Even with the scripts starting in X4, the Mavericks still seemed kind of flat, figuratively (and literally). With the full voice acting and the 3D graphics in X7, I got the sense these guys were more fleshed out, like actual characters for the first time in the series, rather than just some boss guy you try to negotiate with for four text boxes and NAH LET'S FIGHTING.
