"Madame!" Carmen burst through the doors of the court, dragging Grace behind her. Carmen stopped, letting Grace collapse to the floor. Grace trembled as Carmen bowed and tightened her grip of her arm. "We've found an odd specimen of our kind in the Dark Woods, all alone." Grace looked up and immediately tensed up. In front of her towered a huge Ghast covered in blood-red markings. By the way she sat, Grace could tell that she had far more tentacles hidden behind her back. The giant Ghast stared at her with a dull and unimpressed look, only bothering to raise a single eyebrow. Suddenly, Grace felt a sharp jab at her side. She looked up at the guard, who gently gestured to the giant Ghast with her head.

"O-Oh! I b-b-beg your pardon!" Grace quickly floated to her feet and bowed. The giant grunted, turning her nose up.

"I take it you're not from here?" she asked in an accusing tone. Her voice echoed through the room. Grace trembled.

"N-No, ma'm," Grace rose again but kept her head bowed. She noticed a tiny bit of movement by the throne. She glanced over to see a much smaller Ghast with the same red markings and a very similar gown to the giant. The smaller Ghast darted behind the throne again.

"Look at me when you speak, please," The giant commanded. Grace stood erect, her hand balled into fists and shaking. "Bring her to me, Carmen." Carmen grabbed Grace once more and floated up to the giant's eye-level. She then thrust Grace forward, where she floated shakily. The giant rose her hand from her cheek and caressed Grace with her thumb. She smiled softly, though it felt ice-cold and fake. "Poor thing, you must be lost and afraid..." She looked back over to Carmen. "Have you seen any others like her around here?"

"No, madame, only her. She seemed distressed, though," The giant nodded and looked back over to Grace.

"We'll keep you here until we figure out...what you are. We don't see Ghasts such as you around here," she chuckled, but Grace could only muster a half-hearted grin. The giant scoffed. "Oh, don't be like that. We'll send you on your way soon enough," She lifted her hand away from Grace and gently nudged her towards Carmen. "Until then, I have some...priorities in mind for you,"

"T-thank you, ma'am?" Grace looked up at the giant and cocked her head.

"Please, call me Unna," Unna waved her had. "Carmen, take her down to the 'guest quarters'. I don't want to bother her too much before we make use of her,"
