Cydney shuffled back in the cage as she stared back into the piercing red eyes. The beast merely cocked her head and grinned, showing a mouth of huge, sharp teeth.

"Oh! You're awake!" the monster said, her voice echoing off the walls in every direction. Cydney simply stared at the best from under a burrowed brow, her words getting caught in her throat. Finally, she found the strength to speak.

"Wh...What? Where am I?" Cydney asked. The monster giggled, making the cavern echo with her chiming voice. Cydney felt her cage rock slightly. It was then that she noticed that she was suspended in the air. She clung to the bars as the monster settled.

"Oh, I found you deep in the soul sand, practically dead...so I thought I'd take you home and heal you up!" The monster's eyes glanced to the side and she tensed suddenly. "Oh! Oh dear, I apologize for the mess! I'm not normally such a slob," The monster quickly left the cage's side, allowing Cydney to see the ghost-white monster in full.

The monster was huge, nearly two stories tall, with long, grey tentacles lazily trailing from under her hat and skirt as she floated around. She was rather chubby and dressed in light fabric dyed a dull purple. The monster had pointed ears which twitched sporadically. The monster reached down into the sand and lifted a large, white fossil, then chucked it out of the opening to the cave. She turned back to Cydney and grinned, stretching the dull tear marks and stripes on her face. The monster then seemed to realize something as her face scrunched up in thought and released in realization. "Ah, where are my manners? I never introduced myself," she chuckled. She removed her hat and leaned forward in a semi-bow.

"I'm Grace, the leader of the Ghast militia. Pleased to have you in my collection,"
