Something about this really speaks to me. Where do you get the images for the paper element of your collages?

....I would have liked to see it with no digital input however. The high contrast almost ruins it!

this mixed media piece is just awesome, everybody out there should see this printed out at 11x17, it leaves you speechless, it did me. ask profane, if your interested, i think he is ready to start selling prints, and believe me, they are worth every penny. i still can't explain how good this work is. another flabergasting piece! keep up the good work zac.

Beautiful! Lovely composition, VERY nice blending in your collage. Just stunning. I particularly like the white branches sprouting out over the upper left. Linework is excellent, as usual, really draws the eye in. What I love about your pieces is the inability to let go of the viewer--every five seconds I see something new that brings me right back. Really a visual workout!
Great job, and quite perfect blend.

Oh wow. This is stunning. The two things that I really enjoy about this one are the barely-there tree and the crawly bugs around the neck. I also really like the text clippings because it adds to the feeling of ordered chaos. Love it.

oh my god...this blows everything out of the water...I am more than happy that I ran into your work again...keep up whatever it is that you're doing because you do it well...mixed media makes me want to commit crimes of passion on small animals...I might have to head over to a confesion stand and talk to my priest if I stare at this any longer...
AMAZING!...I agree when you said....when you make art you don't question yourself, and you have maybe a vauge idea of what it's supposed to portray, and you work from that...this to me feels like a new sense of discovery, or perception...our minds are always evolving and we are always opening new spectrums that we have never touched before...and that's what it feels like to me...

The content behind the art... Well, since when I'm creating these pieces, I'm not really questioning myself on what to do, I find myself asking the same questions. I think in this piece, I was trying to express the ideas of self discovery, transformation, and exposing your true eye/mind. Think about the title, 'Undone Passage.' I'll let you make your own interpretations. That's the great thing, it is very subjective and I WANT you to make your own ideas about what it means. So, what does it mean?

hhmmm.. well if i really were to let my imagination get away with me then i'd say it reminded me of someone being buried alive. i think you've captured the point where they've done their clawing and screaming and now are horrifyingly contemplating the rest of their life stuck in a coffin.
