I am a student of Mr. Kilpatrick actually. Weird. Just giving a heads up on what's fucked up.
Jeff was robbed on July 30, 2007. Two guys stole his computer, hard drives, art books, scanner, printer and everything else he ever did. Including his dedicated work to his deceased mother that passed from lung disease. He was my art teacher for 4 long dedicated years at North Catholic High School for Boys. Me and a few of his other students are going to go see how he's doing tomorrow and I'll tell him that his work reached Oregon.

Those pages were some of the first things I colored in Photoshop to try and fine-tune my skills...I owe it to Mr. Kilpatrick for giving me that inspiration...I think I might have tried to contact him a few years back to maybe collboarate on some things...

I loves the Mars Volta...and Sparta while we're on the subject. Can't say i've heard muse...but I'll be sure to check it out. Your work epitomizes everything that I like. Multiple medias, insanity, and some excellent composition. I wonder what your work would look like if you tried telling a multiple page story...I should've just said comic. Jajaja canΒ΄t believe you were born in here, iΒ΄m from caracas, actually i found your page because an algerian friend of mine (that i met in madrid), art176 had you in his "list of people whose work i admire", and i was actually telling him the other day that when you compare his work to someoneΒ΄s whoΒ΄s been raised in the tropics may we call it, it shows in the fact that usually they use a lot of bright, sparkly colors no matter what the subject might be, and his on the other hand, reflects the fact that heΒ΄s from the desert and his colors are always a bit more mute, donΒ΄t really know how to describe it. I guess you beign born here and living in Miami shows what iΒ΄m saying pretty well, thatΒ΄s what i liked about your designs. Ok, see ya in the mirror!
