A real quick one of ‘Cappy’ from Super Mario Odyssey.Not a big fan of the name, but I love the fact that the ‘helper/powerup friend/omochao’ has a personality AND a great design.
I also can’t help but be reminded of a Boo when I see him, only better.
I was never much of a Boo fan and couldn’t believe that it kept getting cast in spin-offs and even getting its own amiibo!
In my opinion they could take every instance of a playable Boo from now on and replace it with this guy and I’d be more than happy.

I admit I like the doofy name (then again it's mostly because that was the name of a local hobby store I went to as a kid), though I'm just happy that Mario games can still generate this kind of buzz. Nice simple tribute here!

Yeah, it was just a little too simple for me.
I thought 'Topper' might have been a better name, but it turns out there's another new character in the game with that name!
I guess if you're going to theme your game around hats you only have so many options.
