Today’s haiku comes to us from ~MisterChimpo .Beauty’s in its eye.
You can try to argue, if
You don’t mind dying.
The fact that it's heavily scarred - but still alive - means a lot of campaigns ended in tears.

Well done! The Beholder has always been a favorite monster of mine (right up there with the Cacodemon). Though I never really played DnD, I can still appreciate a finely drawn floating head-monster with eye stalks.
I don't know much about the actual physical appearance of a Beholder, but I like that you made the main eye multicolored and each of the stalk eyes a single color. And the shaped pupils are a nice touch. Makes me think each eye can see different things entirely, while the main eye SEES ALL!
Also-- The green stalk eye being a Kermit-like pupil makes me happy.

Beholder is kind of cute, too. He looks like a pissed off dust bunny.
