Description
In 2116, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These Spathi promptly escaped from a maximum-security stockade to the Zoq-Fot-Pik underground. Today, still wanted by the Ur-Quan Hierarchy, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem... if no one wants to help... and if you can find them... maybe you can hire... the Black Squadron.

Heart of a warrior, soul of a poet
Has never spoken or indeed illustrated any form of sapience apart from pointing at objects on screen
Career Highlight: Zebranky was gifted to the Black Squadron by a grateful Zoq-Fot-Pik ambassador, stating that it was one of their finest officers

DIPSHIT
Son of former second-in-command, Tugboat
Tugboat died heroically, his last wish being that Chief would take care of his son
No one knew the son's name so they just call him Dipshit
Tugboat was later found to be alive and well and uninterested in reclaiming his son
Career Highlight: Regularly appears on enemy ships, waving at Black Squadron through viewscreen, unaware of danger and inexplicable in his method of getting over there
