Description And I still got soaked which wouldn't have been so bad had I not needed to look nice this afternoon and I dunno, dry? And this was the only pair of nice slacks I brought with me Luckily I had plenty of time to get them dry, and time to fix my hair too... This one was taken before the really hard rain that wound up soaking me started, it would have been awesome to have been in the greenhouse for that, but I had started making my way back towards my car by then... the lighting was just so amazing though, I kept stopping hoping the huge storm cloud would slow down so I could utilize the great light without getting soaked (and it worked for a little while ) I'm not overly happy with the composition of this one, but it was so hot on the upper level of the greenhouse, I just couldn't stay any longer and compose a better shot... I did get some other nice shots before I got absolutely drenched, I'll just add those to the super long list of stuff to edit

First off you have to tell me how you got up and in the greenhouse. I like the pose. Very nice. I love the storms you get in the south!

it has an observation area where you can go to the second floor and look out over the plants ( [link] the tripod is actually in about the same place in both these shots, just the camera is pointed at opposite ends of the greenhouse)

love the pose! you look sorta acrobatic ...and the rusty greenhouse looks like it could be swapped with the high rafters of a chapel in Prague or something

I love watching the rain, it's so peaceful! And I enjoy playing in the rain if I'm at home and can change into dry clothes

I disagree and think the composition looks great. I like the angle you got the greenhouse in. Was those boards you were standing on safe? I guess you weren't lying when you say that you are drawn to water..lol. I guess it always find you.

yeah, it was safe and sturdy, just no rail (it's just out of view to the right) It's covering the doorway-air system thing (the ones that blow air right at the door to keep the temperature inside from being messed up by an open door) But being it's a greenhouse, they only need to use that system in the winter, to keep the cold air out... it was freaking hot upstairs in that thing!

Well, i see no sweat beads coming down your face from the hotness unless that was fixed in post..lol.

I absolutely like this image. but not why you may imagine. I love that I can see the outside through the glass and it is an amazing view.

And of course you look fabulous.

hehe I was hoping to capture some of the view outside, that's why I wound up out on the ledge in the first place... standing on the correct side of the rail you don't get a good view of the outside Glad you like that aspect!

Well you did a marvelous job of getting a good shot of the outside.

I love how you always give an interesting perspective in your photos.

Hehe, you do look like you're making your way across the front of a building high up. The composition isn't too bad, except your other arm is missing.

Great colour and lighting though.

hehe yeah, the missing hand is kinda blah... but also I think it would have been better to have had the camera more to the right, would have created a bit more depth...

Yes, it probably would have, but I do get some sense of depth from this. Just have to look hard enough.

hehe I had no choice but look sneaky, I was standing out on a ledge and decided it was better to hang on than chance falling
