This dress is just so fabulous hehe... so I had to wear it on my day off, since it's not exactly work wardrobe material... I was running some errands this afternoon and looking for a spot to get a photo, and I saw this upstairs location at a shopping plaza that I thought had a lookout to the hills behind it, and since it had been raining it was all foggy and awesome, so I decided I'd go up there... Well the lookout turned out to be a bust, it wasn't really a lookout, just an opening in between the stores for an elevator... But what an awesome elevator it was! I think elevators with exposed mechanisms are awesome, so I decided I'd try to get a photo in the elevator...
As will tell you, um we don't have the best luck with elevators and photography, so rather than getting the shot I really wanted, I settled for placing the camera inside the elevator with me and shooting wide angle to get me in the corner as it was going up and down.... I never did get the cool blurry thing I was going for in the background quite right, but it came out ok in this one I think. The even longer exposure shots didn't turn out well, the floor was shaking enough to motion blur the whole thing, rather than just the outside as it moved by... Oh well though... Still a cool elevator.
