Lately I've been feeling like I should express my undying love for the handsome chain-smoking captain more :9 Turks are taking way too much space from him in my head. Anyways, I guess it already came clear how much I looove Cid. Cid, Cid Ci~~d.

This is a very nice picture of Cid! He doesn't look old! He looks his age. And his hand looks just fine. but yet i didn't draw it, and i don't really know what you see in it.
But anyway, Cid looks VERY handsome how you drew him. It's better then seeing all this "Bishie Cid" stuff.. he usually looks too young or whatever.

*mutters* they even gave Vincent more screentime than him. Vincent was a hidden character and now they're making him his own game and all! It's not fair.... just becouse Vinny-poo just happens to be more fangilr-pleasing bishie and has more fangirls than Cid could ever have and bleah! As much as I love Vincent, it just didn't seem right :/ I'd change my Vinnie-figure for Cid anytime!!

I agree with you on this and with Shippagirl. Cid didn't get a lot of screentime, and neither did a lot of the other characters. The movie was basically Cloud angsting over Aerith, Tifa hanging on to him, and the SHM. You know what pisses me off more, though? S-E MARRIED Cid and Shera! 
And as for the figures, I wish that S-E would make figures of ALL the characters! I DID see a model of the Sierra on ebay though! Was pretty cool - and reasonably priced. If I had a Cid figure, he would happily be perched on the top of my computer monitor! XD

I agree. And i think thats the whole reason WHY Cinvent gets more screen time, BECAUSE he has more fans. At least thats what im guessing. Cid had more then like.. 4 ;ines in the game! thats no fair for them to not put him in as much as the others. they should have put them all in it equally.

That's good to hear. I hate it when people draw Cid looking all bishie or just old. It really takes away the coolnes of the character... Cid's a nasty, rugged pilot indeed. Awesome.

Also, I've seen people who make Cid look like he's 60 or something, and yours doesnt look anything like that. So you dont have to worry about thinking that you've made him look too old xD
