Description
A piece for school:An alphabet poster that focuses on relationships between words that have the same first letter, instead of just the letter. By including two pictures, I figure it would be easier to help children realize relationships exists between words.
The colors are limited and the illustrations are simple to emulate a retro sort of feel.

Graphically - WONDERFUL. If you don't mind a slight remark as a linguist I would be a bit careful with it - cheese/camera; eye/ear for instance...

For instance the sound you hear at the beginning of "cheese" and "camera" has nothing to do with each other. They don't even correspond with the same letter(s); while the "cheese" sound is indicated by "ch" - and not "c" (and this is a distinct sound of the English language with mostly the "ch" and "tch" letter combinations) the "camera" sound is indicated by "c" only. "C" can correspond with the "camera" sound or with the "Cecil" sound, but never with the "cheese" sound. Teaching "c" and "ch" together as teaching "apple" and "ant" or "mouse" and "mountain" is not just confusing for the children but linguistically incorrect at the same time (not to speak of the fact that they don't alliterate!). Sorry for the simplifications but I really don't want to get into linguistic details - I don't think it is necessary. Mainly because your graphic work is absolutely fabulous, Laura, and that's what really counts!

Maaan, that's crazy! I didn't even think about that. I was mostly thinking about word associations, which isn't a really clever of a title as alliteration alphabet. Next time, I really should research things more before thinking I'm too clever.
