urge to draw more fish. references from istockphoto.com for the goldfish (black moor and oranda. they have these at jason's work and they are so neat.)and an octopus (which looks so much better than when I started drawing them) with a faucet coming out of its head.
flat colors and french words: pieuvre means octopus and poisson rouge means goldfish, as translated by my friend who is french and very understanding of my odd needs.
and the whole oyster with the pearl planet? "the world is my oyster" type of deal. and a lot of blank space.

You're welcome! Yeah, they're really cute. I used to have a big tank with a bunch of fish, but they all died except for the Betta, Glo. But then he died too...so we got another, and then a few months ago another, so now we have Mish and Ultra-Violet. But I do love fish, they're really pretty and cool...good luck with trying to get one!
It's a pretty cool language. Unfortunately, I stopped taking it during the summer because my teacher left, but I think I'll resume next year...after all, it's easier to learn Spanish after you learn French. I learned that a while ago, it's pretty awesome.

I dislike bettas. They are too fiesty for me and you can't have them together unless it's a male and female. My one betta lived for like 5 years. I call him "the one fish I somehow did not kill."
Awww. Is it really ? I took spanish for four and a half years, so hopefully I pick up french easily, too. YOU SHOULD RESUME. It'll be awesome! Okay, maybe not for you, but for me it will be if you speak to me in it. Haha.

Oh. How odd about the snail....LOL, it shriveled. We had a tiny little crab once, and we thought it was really cute, but it was always in the little castle in the tank...when we cleaned the tank, we took out the castle, and it would come out, and it would be bigger! Eventually it got to be pretty big, considering how small it was in the first place. And even after all of our other fish died, the crab continued to live. So we kept it in the huge tank, but didn't clean it or feed it or anything...we kind of hoped it would die, so we wouldn't have to have the tank any more (I know, it's cruel
I like bettas. They're so pretty, and they chew so cutely (we give them these little pellet-things...)!

Haha. Awww, shame it didn't stay little and oh noes! I feel really bad when you have a pet you don't want anymore and you're not quite sure what to do with it. Usually I try to pawn it off on someone who does want it. But that isn't always the case, sadly. Poor Mr.Crab. I bet you he's off somewhere making crab babies.. Well, maybe not. I don't know the lifespan of a crab.
They do chew cutely, but they're FEROCIOUS RAWRRRR.
Yay! That'll be awesome! Hopefully I'll get "My French Coach" for Christmas and then we can speak to each other in really poor french. In my head I will use a french accent that is especially terrible.

I took French for 3 years in high school. It loses a lot of luster when you get to the more nasal pronunciations, and all the gender-specific nouns. I wanna learn Swahili.
