I wish the season had been longer!
Spoilers ahead!
A lot of stuff that happened feels like it came a little too early, just because the season was so short. Like IG-11's death and Mando's face/name reveal. I'm also kinda upset that the group split up afterward--I thought they could have been a team in the making lol.
AND I WISH WE DIDN'T HAVE TO WAIT SO LONG FOR SEASON 2!

SAMEEE WHY ONLY 8?????
[Spoilers]
I didnt really feel much on IG's death, he was only in two eps so i didnt get too attached to him.
I agree, i honestly did expect to see mandos face at all in this season. When it did happen i was quite shocked but also like "ahhhhhh, kay?"
Jon only wrote this one season and wont be writing the next as far as i know, i think he left is like that to leave a lot of openings for the next writer, to take over, kinda like passing the touch with a little gasoline. Itll be interesting to see how the next season will play out.
I was really upset about quill's death, like i did not see that coming and i was so happy and enjoying his character, it hit harddddddddddd
SAMEEEEE and we dont even get a date, just spring

I did! I’m a sucker for Mandalorians so I was hooked fast. Besides, “the child” is adorable too.
I really want to know why the ‘don’t show your face or name’ rule came about. :0 Hopefully they’ll cover that in season 2. And the dark saber!!!!

I'm really happy this show came along because it reinvigorated my love for SW. I'm a lot more invested in the lore and what's happening with characters. The "stay masked" thing is really interesting, because there a lot of mandos that don't do it and aren't shunned from their society. Is it a thing where only certain clans abide by the hardcore rules? Also, why isn't Mr. Mando (I'll leave his name unspoiled) part of the clan that saved him? I wonder. (And yes, the Darksaber looks pretty awesome!)

I have to agree with you there. I wonder if he's shunned simply for becoming a bounty hunter or if there's really more to it. My dad and I think the stay-masked rule could have been something new that came about after the fall of the Empire.
Now that I finished binge-watching Avengers EMH on Disney+ I'm watching Rebels again. And I got sucked into the Thrawn book trilogy and I can't wait to get the second one (in the meantime I'm reading another SW book called Inferno Squad). :0

That's a good point! I guess after the fall, Mandalorians could have had to try to reconcile and re-establish who they are apart from the war, putting some rules and stuff that everyone had to follow.
I'm going to try to watch Clone Wars again so I can get caught up on what Filoni's given us so far, haha. I don't think I've ever read SW books other than a encyclopedia of sorts for some of the characters and settings. I could use a good book for my spare time, maybe the Thrawn ones would be a good thing to look at.

I love the Clone Wars too. That might be my next show to rewatch after Rebels.
I definitely recommend Thrawn! He’s a very interesting character and it basically explains his rise through the Imperial ranks, ending off just before he enters Rebels. I think you’d like it. ^^
