Well, a quick look through your gallery causes reason for concern, and there are people who do dress all emo/goth like in school. These are the people I try to avoid (even if they admire me so).

But alas, here's me giving attention to something that's not dark and depressed. You can't stay like that forever. Heck, even My Chemical Romance (whom I'm still ashamed to have listened to) has gone bright and colourful. And they were the most emo of all.

Why would you be ashamed to have listened to My Chemical Romance? They're my all time favorite band ever :/

I just don't understand it. I went through the whole emo phase, but life has been so much better since. If your sad, why not try to make yourself happy? I mean, I get the need to express yourself when your down (my last few poems were depressing), but, I don't get why just sad? It's one emotion out of many, why spend all this time on it?
And MCR isn't a very good band for all the reasons listed above. I'm so glad I put emo behind.

I am happy ! I'm very happy. I have a great boyfriend, the best friends in the world, great parents that care about me and do nice things for me, and I'm not a vegetable or terribly crippled, or even overly hideous.
It's just my style of art! Most of them aren't really depressing, in my opinion...its all in the eyes of the beholder!

I don't know, but maybe because I was there and then got out, I feel like those who are still there have yet to find a way out. Heck, my saying of "still there" proves it.
Of course, I would say a lot of your photos, the emo ones at least, are depressing. Black and white, especially to this extent, is usually used to show saddness, and I can't help but roll my eyes at it.
I dislike MCR for more reasons then what they've been labelled. I can't take their style, all they have is aggression and depression, they lack creativity, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge could've been one long song and was an absolute mess (even while I still listened to the band, there were a few songs on it I liked), and they have nothing overly unique about them. They're just a sellout band, capiltizing on what's currently popular with the darker teens. I can't be more thankful that Linkin Park changed the way I listen to music with "Minutes to Midnight."
Oh, and I'm not going to pretend that I didn't see when you had "emo-ly rose" in your ID. It's not something I would forget.

I've always that must be weird or people, when their babysitter becomes a teen and starts doing teen stuff. And know she's onto college and what not. I don't think I've ever seen someone grow up like that. If anything, I can moreso relate to Jenny as I watch my own little sister grow up.
