Testing my artistic wings, to see if they will carry me before I get back into finishing everything else that is in progress.Dark Eldar riding a Reaver Jetbike in Commoragh, the Dark City.
Apologies for the piss-poor background, I'll start working on those in the future...

See, the lack of highlights is what I like about this one. Check out the dull 'wraithbone' textures on the jetbike, the soft shading from the ambient light,. The red detailing is pretty intense in contrast to the rest of the ship, which makes it stand out a bit too much I think. This pic is a great example of a really great model (I love the DE with the complete face shields, they look really nice)

Is that what the new design for Reavers looks like? The intakes look rather useless.
Aside from that, it looks fine, mang. Sometimes a simple background is better to keep detail on the main focus.

Yep, that's what it looks like for the most part. The main and only intake is the copper /bronze one on the bottom.
