So... uh... I wasn't really feeling too much love for this page from the get go, plus I reaaally needed to get it out of the way, so there's quite a few shortcomings with this one or at least in comparison to my last pages. But anyway, yeah!

Weeeeell, he was mostly just screwing with him than cheating. The two are pretty dickish toward each other. Besides in this comic entry, Gabe never really expected him to not use any fighting moves, but just got pissy because he lost.

Thoouuugh, that wouldn't have been clear if I didn't say it just now. Though I did kind of intend for Luciano to look less than spotless with this round anyway.

It does kinda' read like he took your guy at his word [in which case, really, he'd have no-one to blame but himself :'D] but I kinda' feel like given the whole fight, that makes more sense than him expecting Luci to break his word all along.

Whether or not I'd feel the same way if it hasn't been pared down, though, who can say. :V

Also that's not good writing on your end if that's so. You may have wanted to establish it.

It shouldn't be just for people who know the story from other places unless referenced etc.

Uh, sure, go ahead. Though before you do, I have to say that this comic was initially meant to be quite a bit longer than it turned out here. Almost three times as long as this, in fact. But because of real life responsibilities popping up I had to cut a lot of the comic out- parts that would have probably made the narrative more coherent and such.

It doesn't have to do with the writing. Maybe you want to write that in the description though.

I mean it kind of does but not entirely. I get it had to be shortened. (The only thing I said was perhaps not good writing was that it entirely changed the story from a readers view point when reading it was that it wasn't clear it was a joke and the other guy didn't believe him. Maybe one word or thought bubble to state he didn't believe it.)

But the note isn't about that.
