This is an old photo collection i hadLocation : Bendungan Hilir, Jakarta
when i kinda "cleaning up" my computer harddrive i found this pic. and i look it once again
it shed a tears.........
Look at this kids...........playing around happy, no boundary, no fear, just play the way they wanted to.
they don't know about the danger of train that may hit them.............they just playing happy through their childhood years
then i look into myself.........and feel "how greatful i am to be here alive, with all of this i had and through my childhood years also with happiness ...............but in a different way"
People sometimes don't remember how they live right now............Just happy with all that glamourous thing............or just "feel" happy
This kids remind me that "happiness comes from inside and comes up the way we wanted to............We do not feel happy because somebody told us to or feel happy because somebody force us to be happy"
Happy is a feelin you should feel deep inside............not feel only in the outside
Like this kids............they live not so glamourous........they live beside the railroad tracks........but they feel happy

the traditionnal look of this add something great

(i duno if u see the work of James Natchtway... well i did a photo-documentary about pauvrety in Jakarta, it's really amazing if u got the chance to see it

actually i have see the movie "war photographer" by James Nacthwey, and this movie kinda inspired me to this journalism photo.
and the location that i shoot this picture is around Nacthwey place he shoot
we try to find that location he shot......
he is a brilliant photographer, one of my idol
