Run for your life! It's the Headless Horse!...or at least it's how Scootaloo imagined the Headless Horse in her nightmare. Funny how her greatest fear looks a lot like Luna, huh? I guess Nightmare Moon's attack and the events of Nightmare Night caused her a little more emotional trauma than she's willing to admit.
Because we only get to see a silhouette in Sleepless in Ponyville I made up a color scheme I thought appropriate: Luna's tail, minus the stars, Nightmare Moon's black coat and I would be seriously disappointed if the Headless Horse didn't have a Jack-o-lantern for a cutie mark! Anatomically correct neck cross section as the cherry on the nightmare cake, because I know how kids think (and dream) Or was that just me when I was little?
It's made out of Creall Do & Dry modeling paste over a skeleton of clothes hanger wire.Β The base is wood covered in Creall Do & Dry, and the whole thing's painted with acrylic paint and varnish. Added little ferns and a tree to match Scoot's nightmare.

Wow, that's certainly more gruesome than what we see in the show. I am reminded of that scene from The Cell where the horse gets divided into sections. Or maybe The Godfather.

Glorious depiction of the Headless Horse! Makes sense that there would be similarities to Luna/NightMare Moon, since that story of Rainbow's must have brought to mind repressed terror of what could have been an endless night...!

Yup. Pretty good stuff if you can ever get it to dry. Especially if you work in stages, adding clay, drying, add, dry, etc.
And you can make it really smooth by sanding it. But most importantly (to me at least) it's CHEAP. I don't know where you're getting it, but Action sells 500gr. packs for β¬1,39.

I got them from a site on the internet, β¬2,50 and that includes Shipping! so i thought that was pretty cheap.
May i know where that auction is held? I wish to go there some time, or is it an internet auction?

Maar ik heb het er de laatste paar weken al niet meer gezien... tijdelijk uitverkocht of misschien uit het assortiment gehaald? Ik kan me ook niet voorstellen dat Creall veel winst maakt met het voor zo weinig aan de Action te verkopen. Ik hoop maar dat ze weer nieuwe inkopen, anders zal ik ook zulke astronomische bedragen als 2 euros en vijftig centen moeten gaan betalen!

hopelijk kopen ze het dan weer in, ik heb het trouwens nog nooit gezien in de Action bij ons in de buurt. Ik kwam erachter toen mijn ouders op vakantie gingen en ik had gevraagd of ze DAS klei meenamen van hun vakantie omdat die van mij op was. Ik was toen net begonnen en had weinig ervaring. Ze kwamen terug van vakantie met deze klei omdat deze de enige was die ze verkochten enwat ben ik blij dat ze dat deden.

Ik was vandaag toevallig bij de Action en ze hadden weer stapels nieuwe Do & Dry. Het lag alleen wel bij de kleurboeken, Play-Doh en ander kleuter/peuter speelgoed. Nou ja, daar liggen de ponies ook als ze ze hebben
