Description
This poor little guy was one of three baby raccoons left behind when their mother disappeared. ;-; They were living in a tree down in the woods across the field from me. Every time I've gone down there the mom has been there, but just recently she vanished and I haven't seen her since. She could have been killed by a coyote, kit by a car, shot, anything really, but she didn't come back and the babies all died. I was able to get them out of the tree though, so now I'm working on preserving their little pelts. Poor things. ;u; They looked like dog puppies with their little noses. I estimate them to be not much older than 4 weeks. I may not have a full sized raccoon skin yet(I would never have killed a mother with babies), but these babies are good enough for now. Raccoons are so beautiful. c':
