So… that’s just… it then. I’m happy to be with my family. Whoever gets the chance to see their beloved after witnessing their demise?...
… I wish I could… say the same thing about… my friends. Especially... him. I’ve seen him suffer, bleed, and bruised to protect the ones he cared about… I know, because I’ve seen it up close. Probably more up close than anyone had ever been. I’ve heard the stories of the ones he lost and the ones that betrayed him.

I never did get the chance to tell him how much I truly, deeply, loved him. How much I… wanted to thank him for all the things he’s done for me and the things he planned to do for me. I mean… I did in the end… but… the fact was… it was in the end, did I finally tell him. Here I was, brave enough to sacrifice myself for the universe and yet I was still too scared to say it first. I saved the entire universe, yet I could not prevent the few people I truly cared about in stirring turmoil with each other.

I loved him… I really did loved him. I never wanted to hurt him the way I did when I told him to shoot me… I felt his heart break. What was even more painful was the face he made when he looked at me… and I… still kept trying to smile. And though I was making a great difference, everything felt good until that very moment. It felt as if I was the one pointing the gun… at his heart… and he was begging me t-to… n-not… sh-shoot it.

I hear his cries… I feel his anguish… and as much as I want it to stop… I dread the day comes if I feel nothing at all-

“Cosmo…”

“Yes?”

“Something… terrible is happening to your friend’s world...”

So yeah, welcome to the mini series of grown up Cosmo renders I’m going to be posting! This one kicks off quite solemnly. Cosmo comes to the world of the dead as a regretful ghost trying stay positive of her deeds while trying to bare the fact she left her friend... quite lonely. Next one might... push a little further. ^^’
