Description
Transformers custom chess set of decoy figures. Hand painted. Board built from scratch. Tile is reflective orange and sides are painted gold to resemble the Ark ship. Autobot and decepticon insignias are on 2 sides. Characters are- optimus prime, rodimus prime, ultra magnus, grimlock, prowl, jazz, ironhide, kup, bumblebee, cliffjumper, wheeljack, ratchet, brawn, sideswipe, sunstreaker, hound. Megatron, galvatron, starscream, shockwave, thundercracker, skywarp, soundwave, devastator, kickback, bombshell, blitzwing, astrotrain, ravage, frenzy, rumble. There are a lot more characters. This is my A list of robots though. More close up pics to come.Related content

Cool Chessboard. But wouldn't the "pawns" be a little hard to tell from the other pieces?

I can understand that. But you could have used the sigils for pawns. But that is a cool chessboard.

It took forever. Theres so many more characters i have to get to. Now its coming down to time. Ill get them in eventually. The characters im making next im building from other decoys and other robot erasers. So they should look cool. I should end up with an entire G1 set. I plan on doing a purple decepticon chess board as well. When i find the time of course. Thanks for the interest

Thanks dude. Thats how the project started. I really liked how the figurines turned out so i decided to make them a part of something that could be used or enjoyed on a daily basis.

They are vintage rubber transformers decoys from the mid 80s. Hard to find. Some i built from double figures that i had. I always wanted some company to make a G1 transformers rpg game with figurines the style of warhammer. Since that never happened, i decided to paint these because they are the closest figurines to an rpg style game

They're awesome! It is kinda wierd that they never made some sort of tabletop RPG thing. And the warhammer things are ridiculously expensive
