Kurt Cobain had really bad stomach problems towards the end of his life and it's been said that he drank pennyroyal tea to try to subdue the pain or as use as a laxative.

For the past five days, I've been very sick with this kind of stomach virus that I don't even know how to diagnose. I kept coming back to Nirvana's song because it was pretty relative to my physical pain. This painting helped me out a bit.

I think people become more creative when they are sick I know, it sounds crazy but that's what I experienced.

Yeah, I used acrylic paint and chalk pastels.

i love the way you've painted the steam and all the fluffy white bits, and it took me a while to realise that there's a face in it!
