Soft, cuddly, loving, able to attach and never let go. It's the ironic companion you always wanted and could never be rid of -- the loving lamprey bear. He's looking for a friend, and a source of nutrition.Yet another t-shirt design; but hopefully, not an actual toy to come out anytime soon.
UPDATE: Why does everyone want a toy of this? It'll have razor shark teeth! It'll hurt! What's wrong with you?

perhaps the appeal is that it looks domo and the omnomnom moster had a baby. either way, you are right, mr. (you are a mister, right?) artist; not a bear, but a hat and glove set would be nice. then after it's gained enough popularity, make it a bear... with a decorated pencil-sharpener for a head?! yessss!

Maybe it's having just recently seen the 1969 version of Bedazzled, but I caught the thumbnail version of this out of the corner of my eye and it instantly brought to mind the scene where Stanley Moon (having wished to be a pop star) is yelling/singing out "LOVE ME!" in front of his screaming fans.
Come to think of it, I've had a boyfriend or three that bore a startling resemblance to this critter (psychologically, if not physically).
