YAY, a lingon, I really like your lingons. And I really, really like how you worked with colours in this one, those sparkling blues are absolutely ΓΌberfine.

Shouldn't lingons have just crabby feet, wierd wired legs, crabby palms, green skin, a metal backpack, a V shaped head, 2 shining light-green eyes and 2 wires sticking out of their shoulders so they can perfrom magic or something?

Uh... o_O
Lingons have four-cloven feet that are... symmetrical in two directions (like a +), "weird wired legs" that have C-shaped backwards knees and split into two parts in the "shins", two crab-like claw limbs, two bioluminescent tentacles, two other, smaller limbs that have "various purposes", a tail, a metal backpack that can vary in size and shape and function, a V-shaped head, 2 bioluminescent eyes that vary in colour as a form of light-based communication, and also two ~-like "eyebrows" that have a similar function.
Why, did you notice something "wrong" with this particular depiction...?

I love your carefree messy style. It always looks good, no matter how much or how little time you spend on it. *jealous*

Hmm, well I'd LOVE to comment on this, but apparently I can't because SOMEONE will only pay attention to the negative aspects of what I say, then yell at me for it.
So I guess I'm better off just leaving It at that and just acknowledge that I've seen it.
Because giving critique is SOOO unheard of these days. Only arrogant people who look for negatives to make themselves feel empowered do that apparently. Hmm... maybe I should just put a gun to my head so I can make YOU feel happier knowing that nobody is going to challenge you again.
Wouldn't THAT make your fucking day.
But no... Saying that will only infuriate you and force you into trying to bring me down YET AGAIN.
So what more can I say. Do you want me to THANK you for something? I don't know WHAT your fucking problem is ok, but apparently its complete and utterly centered around me.

Uh... o_O
Are you STILL bothered about all that?
You shouldn't take everything so *seriously*!
But... Well, usually you are rather negative most of the time. Rather than saying "this bit looks good", you say "that bit looks bad".
Whenever you show me your art, what are you expecting? Just to show off something you're proud of, or are you expecting me to point out all of its flaws?
And... if you somehow got your comic published, how would you feel if instead of saying something along the lines of "that's rather impressive, actually!" as I'd probably say, I said "well, most comics that get published are utter crap anyway", how would you feel?
Anyway, you shouldn't take everything so... *seriously*! I mean, I don't hold grudges or anything like that about such things. That would be silly! o_O

well honestly, i dont know what to say. i mean, im not TRYING to be an arsehole but it seems i come out like one wether i like it or not.
ive said this before, and its true. i REALLY envy your colouring style. you actually have a good sense of arranging colour and so on, but i dont think i NEED to keep telling you that. you should already know by now.
but other things i try and point out that your NOT so hot at, i get the impression that you dont want to know.
i shouldnt have to keep telling you what your good at. how much reinforcement do you need?
i know your not THAT insecure. hence me 'only pointing out the negatives'. its easy to see what your good at but its a lot harder to pinpoint things that your not so good at. thats why always ENCOURAGE decent critique, but i never get it... always get mind numbing shallow one liners like 'nice'. which i hate.
i asume they annoy you as well and that you would have been more thankful that im at least honest.

Actually, I personally couldn't really care less about receiving critique; I'd much rather have a detailed comment about why someone *likes* the picture rather than what they find wrong with it, because it's not like I ever modify finished pictures or anything.
I can understand that you'd want it so then you can use it and improve, but since I barely care about visual art at all, I'm not particularly *aiming* to improve. Improvement doesn't interest me because I'm fine how I am now... I mean, I can't really draw well, but I can draw well enough for *me* and that's all that matters to me.
I suppose, though, that I should heed and welcome critique... I mean, listening to what someone notices about one image and using that knowledge in another image is easier than spending hours practicing... Hm.
Eh, it always seems though as if you pick on the faults in my pictures *because* you're 'envious' in some way, and wouldn't like to, in a way, admit that the picture's good or something because you feel better critiquing and being good enough to notice flaws, thus being in no way 'inferior'... But maybe I'm just analysing the psychology totally wrong and you are doing nothing more than trying to help... Hm.
Probably.
Either way, say what you will on my work! I won't bring this up again! o_O
I'm curious though about what you'd have to say about THIS image...

Actully I find it all rather entertaining. They are keeping to a fairly civil debate with this and that is quite a rarity.
