So I am doing Avatar charms. I have made alot of katara and zuko. But I made one of each of the main charaters in their first outfits. I really tried to make them as much like their in the show but katara's hair is right I made a bun in the back but the shap it wrong and the loops dont go in to it right but thats ok. These are really good! I was looking at the first ones you did of Gabrielle and Xena (I think they are your first ones), and you can see the improvement (I don't mean that those were bad...) . The painting is really good. In my charms/figurines, I like to do a lots of details with the clay, but I tend to mess them up while painting. We could trade tricks

I would love to trade tricks with you. As for paining I use a small fine tip brush and then pant relly showly. On and I draw eveything on the figurs before I paint that helps me get them right. Other then that I just play around with stuff when I make them the clay part. Eveything I do leads me to some new skill that gets used next time.

it depends on the paint. Some times I need to do a few coats but I do realy lite coats so it dosent get clumpy. As for the detail stuff I do it really slow and as light as I can, also doing small strokes. It can be hard. I have had to whip and start ofer.

Yeah, the hair looks really good. I've actually been thinking about making some Harry Potter ones (not that they would be any good) because I have a box of Sculpey at home. I'd have to paint them though, and that's a drag. :I
