Thank you very much! I'm glad you like it so much.
Was also not quite easy, that even blew up the 2080ti and had to render it on 2x.

Thank you very much!
The first 1.5 years with DAZ I also tortured myself with a 970GTX.
But I have for one year almost non-stop hardware problems. Had now 5 ordered 1080ti over time, 3 of them installed and after the last one went back, there were no more on the market, so I had to bite the bullet and get the 2080ti. Then i had to upgrade the power supply 2x. Now I also have a new motherboard, CPU and more RAM since a few weeks, but since yesterday I fear that the motherboard has a problem.
Had I known that I only had trouble and stress for 1 year, I would have kept the 970.

Yeah, I'm pretty nervous about the hardware.
Well, if you have a 11GB GPU, you should have at least 32 GB RAM, I upgraded to 64 GB now, otherwise you will have problems if you have a browser with many tabs open or want to start Photoshop to edit a texture.
I also had to upgrade from 650 Watt PSU (had instability), 800 Watt is a must, I now have 1050.

very true. currently i need to shut down almost everything i have open if i'm going to run a complicated render. i'm thinking that this computer might become my daughters art computer and i will get another one...
i just need to get my money tree to bloom and then catch a unicorn across the gumdrop bridge to happyville so i can buy a new one that's in my budget!
frick....

right?? when i run a render, i wish i could run it in safe mode....sigh, i wish....
although i did just learn that when you're running anything that has a ton of instances, you're supposed to run the instance render setting on "memory" and not "speed" like usual....i ran this one on that setting and it started rendering in under 2 minutes and got this far in 30 minutes....
i'm sure you know that, but i was 2 days ago old when i learned it....
the last giant kitty pic ( zoomies ) was done the same way and i just let that render overnight.

no problem! it's always kinda hairy to give render advice to someone else. we all have our own techniques, right? i usually remember to check my fav 4 or 5 setting after my 3rd or 4th bad render...gotta cut that pipeline down a bit...
i honestly don't know. i tried to use the harpwood road for the image zoomies and it never rendered. i wasn't crying, but for some reason , my eyes were wet and my nose was runny...anyway, i looked for some answers and that was the first time i had heard of changing the setting. i heard one time that it should be on speed...never touched it after that...durrrr.
thanks for that! i used as many instances as i could to see how much it would bog down the computer....she didn't even stutter! noice!

Thank you very much!
Yes, I immediately thought they would be a good match. Unfortunately the armors are so detailed that the project was quite hardware hungry, so there is no successor image yet.
