Version 1 (and the only one currently hehe) of a planet destruction by something that might be a mean alien!.. or something... no idea... just a beam for now hehe.
I think i might try to improve it next time, but i dunno whe that'll be.

Could be better mate. What you need to do is not use blue over the planet that's exploding, neither in the beam nor atmosphere, it subtracts from the effect. You need to work based on color families for this type of piece, I'd say in this one use red orange and yellow themes in it primarily.
The beam could have some more detail, don't limit yourself, experiment, you'd be surprised what comes out of trying new things.
On nebulaes you might like this for more detailed nebulaes, really helped me out when I found it.
