Thanks for the insight! This was one of the first times that I attempted to incorporate serious landscape features with my female subject in this style. I wasn't sure at all that it would work but i was surprised and pleased with the result! That seems to be so true in art that sometimes you just have to throw it out there and try something different! Of course sometimes you fall on your face! Lol!

love the birds, esp the one in her hair. the colors in the water bring out her lips and the movement in the sky goes with the directionality of her hair. really lovely!

wow! this is so colorful! i like how it mimics the look of digital painting, even though it is traditional.
