Slightly (okay, very) rushed character design assignment: PLAY DRESS-UP for 9 different eras.We had to start from a character description written by another classmate and handed out at random. (The one I got was someone’s infuriatingly stupid inside joke that was… weirdly racist, which I won’t go into. Suffice to say I was pissy. But thank god he was supposed to be a villain so mama could work her magic.)

I'm kinda curious of what the guidelines you got where, either way you did a sweet job! I don't know if it's a big deal, but I like how you make him interact with objects. 1 and 5 gotta be my favs

The piece of paper at the end will be nice to have. But really? Make a list of assignments and get some talented, opinionated friends together to talk about what you made. That's not even a poor man's version, that's closer tot the real thing.

yeah, that was the nicest thing, the group of like-minded individuals to feed creatively off of. ill have it again, some day. but i have to say, projects like this sure help (or are at least good to jump off an idea with)

Thanks, dude! I was just trying to figure that out today. I think it helps the most when I reduce limbs and whatnot to only a couple lines. That way when I'm just dashing them down, I'm only thinking about how power ripples through those muscles and what kind of weight they're pushing out.
If that makes sense.
