Quick character drawing for cos she's a sweetie-poop full of love and sunshine and because she drew me an Al [link] for my birthday. We're both July babies awawawaw.I'm kind of glad I took so long to reciprocate because her characters have been getting gradually more and more fun. I think Dagg is one of her newer ones--a hoverboard-riding shapeshifter, I believe. Her style is so cute and stylized and it makes me want to draw all cute and stylized, too.

this is great, I love what you do and have really been meaning to live big lovely nice comments on all of your pretty pictures, but I'm really pisspoor at just sitting down and doing that sort of thing.
That said, careful with your obligatory knee/elbow spiral things. They can add a nice effect, but I think they're harming this image more than they're helping it- the one on his right arm is further flattening an already very flat drawing. I'm not saying "stop doing them" because god knows I love my terrible mock-liefeld face lines and will never stop doing those, but every joint you ever draw doesn't necessarily need a signature styleswirly. Trust me, we'll still get that you did it. (especially if you sign your works like you actually should be.)

I'd agree more if you were talking about the swirls on the legs--overall I am highly dissatisfied with his pants and I think they look painfully flat. My decision to not-shade this thing totally didn't help, either. Oh, me.
I've never really felt comfortable signing my work, even when I used to force myself to do it. Until someone actually threatens to pass my stuff off as their own (not incredibly likely) I don't see a real reason to consider it.
