I’ve been watching some gameplay of Portal 2 and was astonished by how clever the game is. Watching those and all the designs in the game has inspired me to try drawing the robots, and along came this idea of applying those designs onto my character, Paradoxia.The designs were mainly taken from Atlas’ and P-Body’s (The Co-op droids) structure, with the complicated-looking arms and legs joints. The usual crab-like right hand of her was replaced by a Portal gun, of course.
Her leg is designed to look similar to the long fall boots Chell (the protagonist) wears. The only part that really doesn’t get much redesign is her head. I first intended to have an Aperture Laboratory logo somewhere on her, but, since the good ‘ol Paradoxia doesn’t like to be branded by anyone, I scrapped that idea.I first sketched it out very messily and planned to just give it a sketchy coloring, but turned out I had a lot of fun, and the result here is quite very nice within nice working time, I guess --an hour and a half.
This is just an alternate and non-canon design for Paradoxia, so I’m not jointing her storyline to the game, of course, but I really like this design, so we might be seeing more of this look on her in the future. She looks good in white, don’t you think?
I’ve never actually played Portal or any of the Half-Life titles, but I think I should look for Portal 2.^^

Well, the lights look a bit different, but in all in the same amount.
I found the voice cute and fun to listen to, too. I can tell you a lot more about these stuff, but I won't. Y'know, spoilers.

King's Quest VII is an old point-and-click style PC game which was kind of obscure, so I can understand if you haven't heard of it before.
