Oh, I'm sorry for assuming you were from Norway! I looked at your page and saw comments in Norwegian and jumped to conclusions.
I'm from the USA also, actually.

Haha, it's quite alright. I can speak Norwegian. ;D Not perfect but pretty good for never having lived in Norway u.u
Yush, I saw :3 Ohio? I've never been but it seems really...boring to me |D;;

How did you learn to speak it? School, or self taught? I'm trying to learn German, but that Rosetta Stone software is crap.
Yup, Ohio. The most boring state to ever exist. Where the people have no accents, and the only thing to do is sleep, go to the mall (which has like, 3 stores in it), or play video games. What state do you live in, if you don't mind me asking?
Your icon keeps distracting me. I look at it and think of how cute it is, and then I end up staring at it for 5 minutes. I'm such a creeper. Prussia more awesome though. xD

Self-taught u3u Grandpapa also came from Norway. But D: I dunno how Rosetta Stone works;;
Ohio peoples have accents to me! x''D
Sounds boring though u.u I come from Colorado.
And I'm sorry ;A; My sestra made it. You can go tell her that lol...She loves Prussia x3; I personally love Austria uAu

That's awesome. My family doesn't come from anywhere interesting... Unless West Virginia counts as interesting.
Rosetta Stone works by showing you a picture and telling you a word that you have to repeat. It's annoying because you have to guess what they mean sometimes. Like, a woman running with a water bottle could be "runnen" or "trinken." And then sometimes it's hard to tell the gender of the person in the picture... xD
We have accents to you? I always think we sound so plain.
Colorado! I had to google that because I had no idea where that is! I'm useless with American geography.
Small world! I'm watching her. Actually, I'm pretty sure her art is the reason why I love Prussia. That, and the fact that he's awesome. I was an insane Canada fangirl before that.

Aww well only my Grandpa come from Norway, everyone else in my family come from Spain xD
That sounds annoying x_x; Especially if you're going to teach a language and charge a million dollars, it should be very accurate. >:C Glad you gave me the headsup xD I was wondering if it was a good program!
Not an extreme accent but if I spoke with you long enough I'd probably get the hint you're not from Colorado. Though I always get called out on "Not being from around here." when I'm in Florida and places like that. o_o Maybe I'm the one with the accent x3 We don't like pronouncing our t's. Moun'ains x3
Awww dunno where Colorado is? But we're awesome ;A;
n_n;; Somehow everyone who loves Hetalia is familiar with her. I was just telling her I wonder what people think of me since I'm always harassing her page xD "Oh, that Alikurai has a fangirl" xDD
She used to RP a pretty good Prussia and I think she just fell in love with him :3 Hence all the fanarts.
Canada? PFFT...actually i like canada u///u

It's not really a language barrier, it's more of a lack of exposure. A lot of their videos have English subtitles, but Americans just don't know they exist. Besides, as soon as Americans find something a lot of people like, they end up translating it, giving it voice overs, and generally destroying it.

Sad but true.
But they are of course funnier if you understand what they say without subtitles or dubbing, there are some of the jokes that just doesn't work in English.
Like their "news" on the DVDs, where they play with words a lot.

I guess I'll have to learn Norwegian next then... I have to finish learning German and French first though...
But in a few of the translations, the person explains a few of the word jokes. Either way, it's really funny. Half of it comes from not understanding the language at all, I think. Cause then all of the jokes are new, and of things I've never heard of before. It makes it even more wonderful.

Yeah, professional subtitles usually don't add explainations of the jokes (or I don't actually know that). But knowing the language is the best.

Aren't they amazing? I always feel so out of place for loving them though, since no one in America ever knows about them.

No, I'm American. I'm watching a few people who are Norwegian though, that's how I found out about Raske Menn. Sadly I can only speak English, so I only understand videos with translated subtitles. I'm trying to teach myself other languages though.
