One of the books I had at my father's house over the summer was "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Ginji's Rescue Team". I COMPLETELY fell in love with Charizard. I was never seen such a gorgeous Charizard! Beautiful conformation, strong, healthy, an excellent fighter. All around, a wonderful Pokemon. Listen to me, going on as though he were a showhorse. Anyway, I tried to draw him myself, trying to copy the original drawings freehand (I didn't trace them, otherwise they'd be much better!), but I failed to capture his regal profile.
Oh well. .......

Aw, thanks! Yeah, Charmander (and evolutions) have been my starter Pokemon of choice since...eh, about '98. Looong-time fave goin' on! 
I just couldn't get over how GORGEOUS this particular specimen was! I mean, I've seen quite a few Charizards, but none so amazing as this guy! I HIGHLY recommend checking out the Magna to see how he looks in the original art!

Unfortunately, I'm way behind on current developments in PokΓ©mon as a whole. I haven't been watching the show, and I haven't played the latest games. The current season started looking as boring and frustrating as the Johto season(s)...
I don't know what your thoughts on the various seasons are, though.

Oh, I'm WAY too far behind, too! I've only seen a few episodes of two or three seasons scattered at random intervals, more Sinnoh than anything else. I don't dislike it at all - Buizel is my favorite Pokemon, and Ash's Buizel is AMAZING! I was so mad when he captured it...
