DANDRELIX, the TripleFloret Pokémon. It is said that when three airborne DANDHELI gets tangled, they turn into DANDRELIX. Equipped with a strong cross sepals-propeller, DANDRELIX now moves faster that it rarely relies on the wind. It produces strong winds to FLY that it can even lift a GOLEM with little effort. The spin caused by its rotating sepals tightens its tangled vines, making DANDRELIX even more powerful.

Name Origin: DANDELIon, tREs ['three' in Spanish], and hELIX [spiral in Greek; also the origin of 'heli-' in 'helicopter']
Type: Grass / Flying
Ability: Chlorophyll or Leaf Guard
Evolution: Dandheli --Level 22--> Dandrelix
Moves Learned: Same movepool as Dandheli, but with Air Cutter upon evolution, hence: Power Whip, Energy Ball, Bounce, Leaf Blade, Twister, Sleep Powder, Synthesis, Pin Missile, Cotton Spore, Air Cutter, Rapid Spin, Razor Leaf, Stun Spore, PoisonPowder, Gust, Tail Whip, and starting moves Vine Whip and Splash; relearns Air Slash and Tri Attack; Dandrelix, unlike its pre-evo Dandheli, can learn Fly due to the power of its sepal-propeller [check Dex data for info on this]; a notable TM for Dandrelix is the U-Turn TM

For a very critical reason , I would like to take this opportunity to thank all future ers and ers of my works.

Surprised to see two more Dandhelis? Well, here's my take on the "three-in-one" principle of Pokémon-dom: Dandrelix! And being Dandheli's evolution, Dandrelix is another entry of mine to 's contest !

Simply put, Dandrelix is three Dandhelis tangled into one awesome helicopter Fakemon! Much like Dodrio than any other three-in-ones, Dandrelix develops different emotions on each of its floret-head: one happy , one sad , and one angry . And instead of six leaf-like sepals [a pair per tangled Dandheli], Dandrelix, upon evolution, gains four longer sepals instead. These compose a stronger cross propeller which allows it to both travel faster and carry something along with it as it flies. Tangled underneath are the separate vines of the three Dandheli that made up this TripleFloret Fakemon. The vines have grown considerably longer, too.

Before going to the technical details of Dandrelix, I have to mention [or probably plug] something. I don't want haters and flamers on my dear Dandrelix' page, so I will mention this ahead of time. I know of 's Dandraft [which pressured me to submit my own], and I didn't copy his idea of a three-in-one dandelion floret. His Fakemon has the [admittedly] cool reference to dandruff, while mine is inspired by helicopters. To be honest, Dandrelix is a relatively new creation of mine when I decided to make a dandelion-based Fakemon, and I have already decided then to also try my luck on making a three-in-one creature as well. I didn't copy his work [but I admit that his idea is great and unique]. We just had the same ideas but had different bases and referenced different real-world items. So again, no haters and flamers, please. I guess bright minds just think alike. Personality, however, sets each artist's creativity apart. Just like in this case.

Going back, as I mentioned in Dandheli's page, my Floret Fakemon is Sunkern's counterpart in my theoretical region. However, Dandrelix is not Dandheli's version of Sunflora. In this case, Dandheli is more like Ekans/Sandshrew and Dandrelix is its Arbok/Sandslash because the two unevolved Generation I Pokémon evolves at level 22 like my Dandheli. Also, all three are part of a two-staged evolutionary line [save for Dandheli's split evo lines]. In addition, Dandrelix inherits all of Dandheli's moves much like Ekans-Arbok and Sandshrew-Sandslash [remember, Sunflora has a different movepool than Sunkern]. I just added a few moves to justify Dandrelix' strength as a Flying type [Air Cutter upon evolution and a relearnable Air Slash] and as a combination Fakemon [the relearnable Tri Attack].

Stat-wise, Dandrelix has Sunflora's 425 total. Despite being rather weak, it actually has balance in stats except for that 100 Speed, just 10 points behind Jumpluff and a whopping 70 points more than Sunflora's. Being barely defensive [hey, it only has tangled stalk-vines for a body], Dandrelix has 55 on both defensive stats, while it is mildly offensive, having 75 on both attack stats. It has 65 HP, 10 less than both Sunflora and Jumpluff.

Dandrelix, to me, is an Annoyer with all those powder attacks and that Speed, and to a certain extent, a Sweeper due to its learning great STABbed moves. Sadly, 65 HP and poor defenses makes it too fragile. As such, it is advisable to teach Dandrelix U-Turn via TM for a hit-and-run [or annoy-and-run] strategy.

Dandrelix has a counterpart evo from Dandheli, can you guess what that is? Sunflora is your only clue here, though it is a very revealing clue, to be honest. Just watch out, it is bound to be submitted very, very soon!
