My first official watercolour peice. Didn't know what to put for the title, but it seems peaceful to me.I'm quite happy with it considering it's my first and I hope to try many more pieces in this medium.

I personally think the head looks ok.
I love the softness of the background, the pastel colours are really blended together well and I like the pose ^-^ I don't think the background really compliments the character well but I suppose that can't be helped

yeah, the paper... I really like, but I think doing a watercolour piece ON it makes the picture too dark and it doesn't flow together a it should. A better idea would have been to do it on white paper and then mayby cut it out and paste it on that paper. But it was all an experiment and I still had fun!

I can control water colors for a simple background/sky fairly well, but when it comes down to adding fine detail, I mess it up so bad! XD Did you just use a very small brush for the fur?
