Description
Radical And Wicked Redesigns VII: Lucia, Trueblade.
A bit of a departure from her usual fare, and a far cry from what I originally had planned for her, which was more in keeping with the traditional Swordmaster mould (Long coat/Chinese dress).
Anyways, since the current contest is redesigns- and as I've been doing the Rawr series anyways- I though why not.
Not exactly sure that this WILL be my entry- but I figure it might as well be, since I doubt that I'll come up with a better idea anytime soon.
Next up in the Rawr series is gonna be another Trueblade; guess who.

SO creative; major departure from her normal outfit, but I could instantly tell it was Lucia. (Mostly by the colors). I'm really digging the sword and the floofy leg things and the streamers ... and...

Y'know- even though I said I hate pretty-boys (actually, I very much do), I never had that much of a problem with Zihark. Mostly since he doesn't ACT the way pretty boys are normally wont to; all prissy and preeny, and all-so conceited and narcissistic.
However, I'm having one helluva bitch of a time trying to come up with a decent pose fer Stefan. I might skip him altogether and go fer somebody else.

Ah well- I tend to consider the majority of anime/manga-style guys to be pretty boys- 'specially the ones with the long, flowey hair and there's a certain way of drawing their eyes that gives 'em that look. Karel- maybe not. But Definitely Lehran, Rafiel, and Soren. Actually, I was one of the many who thought him a girl first time I saws him.

Yeah, I was one of those Soren-is-so-a-girl people too, but it was before I got into the whole "manga" deal where if it looks like a girl, it's a guy. xD

Oh, there's tons of outfits that both allow airflow alstwhile remaining attractive, I find. Simple blouses work very well for that.

Heh- Thanks. The flared pants were actually a last-minute addition. Originally, she was going to have thigh-high boots and the traditional long coat.

Thanks. I always imagined her style of fighting to be very academic; precise and deliberate movements, with an emphasis on footwork. I think I managed to portray that quite well.
