Description
This is a small series for each of my 5 mewtwo characters. All pictures have been more or less inspired by Alex Greys series 'Progress of the Soul'Reznor. He was supposed to be a very despicable character. I wanted him to be the total egocentric asshole in my little messed up family. But what happens so easily then you start thinking what kind of personality each of them should have, I as their creator started to love him too much. Which in the end made me change my mind about Reznor and kinda gave him the chance to be less despicable.
Of course he has to suffer to be cured of his arrogance. This is why you see him in this miserable state right now. He had to realize that he is nothing without the others. (To keep the story short; Reznor crossed the line, Nails had enough of him and kicked him out of the group. This was actually a part of the shortstory 'about love, rejection and jealousy. which turned out to be very gory. at least in my head, i bet i would be such a good autor for tv-shows. Its incredible how bad the story plots are in those telenovelas. urghs.)

Yeah, giving a fitting personality to your own characters can be very hard sometimes. Like if one is having a serius while the other has a easygoing personality they will react differently in different situations. How will he/she react if he/she get happy ex. If he/she care about another how will he/she show it etc. You know what I mean right? I think that is one of the hardest part whit making your own characters and storys. Suddenly I realise that I changed my charcters personality to much and that can sometimes be enough to make it impossible to continue whit the story.

It is, and thats why the story is running out of date. If i will continue suspect that it will be reduced to the most important scenes, not a complete comic anymore. My page wasn't updated for almost a year now, so no need to ckeck it that often.
Neither do I, because of the same reason, the shows really suck so much. But I like to watch the Simsons and family guy sometimes. Just everything that is funny and sort of lowbrow, hehe.

I have the same problem when I try to create a story and character. I am working on a story right now (fancomic) actually but I dicided to sketch every scene VERY simple first and adding text so I know the story will fit togheter at the end...or else I am doing complete scenes that may not fitt in to the story anymore. That's a great tip!

Lol, same here.XD I like only watching simpsons, family guy or south park...if I ever is putting on the tv that is! I mostly wach youtube videos instead of tv actually...yep you can say that youtube replaced the tv.

You did something for your character that I couldn't do for Vicebane, and that was actually show him a lick of decency and compassion. It's a beautiful painting with a strong message. Your line work, while lines in a sense looks so clean and more professional than if it were inked. Ink is a default for those who can't shade. Good to see things from you again.

You were consequent with Vicebane. He was supposed to be purely evil and he stayed like that.
The story you wanted to tell could suffer if you change them just to make yourself feel better about them. (Thats my dilemma now, wanted to portray total messed up characters. Now they slowly turn in something likeable.) Still i was shocked when you mentioned that you want to kill Mewblade. Its so depressing.

That's the problem with not finishing stories quick enough. It results in thinking about them more, and second guessing.
It's one of the most open secrets about Mewblade.
