Sometimes it scares me how well the lyrics of a song can fit a character. at least how i see mewtwo in my sweet dreams comic.Some might have noticed, the comic is about suicide or suicidal thoughts.
And this noise is mewtwos mind that starts to go against him.
it was an accident that Mewtwo looks like a chibi here thought. that ruins a little bit the original planned atmosphere.

Well the band who owns the song really aimed for the suicide theme here, though it was fitting mewtwo, since the other personalities wanted to drag him to subconscious, which sort of is death, since he would loose control over his body and mind.

No problem. The Mudvayne song I linked is about Ed Gein [link] , who was a serial killer and grave robber (possible inspiration for a character that we haven't fully seen their personallity). Though some of their songs album do refer to suicide. One example is the song Pulling the Strings from the Lost and Found album. [link]

Sorry, this pic reminded me of the Many, an evil force from System Shock 2. All through the game, you can hear them in your head saying that you will die alone, and you must join us to feel wanted. I didn't think the situation was too different here.

Poor Mewtwo he looks so lost
I think making him look like a chibi isn't such bad idea after all becuse it makes him look more vulnerable. How should I say...like the unsure and scared child whitin him shows throught in his anxiety.

the bad thing is that this was not my intended idea, but i can agree with you. you know that insecure child was in the origin my character Kyo. all my characters were in reality split personalities of mewtwo. i kept changing this idea cause i thought its to crazy.

Making Mewtwo have split personality I think was kinda interesting idea but I understand what you mean. It whould easily get very confusing.
Othervise making Nails be the one to awoke Mewtwo's doubt's and weaknesses and make the others be like ghost's from previus Mewtwo clones, I think was a pretty good replacement for the orignal idea
After all the story itself is focusing on dark feelings and deep thoughts not a pair of ghost's spooking around.XD
Kinda wierd and surrealistic story but still interesting and deep...I just love those

Well when I think of it your story has barely begun so...thats means you still can choose the original story as well.
Personally I think you should stick to the ghost version becuse what I said before having Mewtwo have split personality would easily get very confusing.
Also I think the different versions of the story itself is prakticly the same story after all.
The story itself are focusing on Mewtwo's feelings but I understand why you have doubts. I mean having Mewtwo have split personality can make your story even more interesting in a psycological point of wiew...argh I can't dicide either! XD.

Superb coloring job. You can definitely bring out the angst with your watercolors. Most people can pull the soft stuff, but when they try the dark it becomes muddy and desaturated. Good to see that it works so well for you, and you kept a hold of your colors. The apparent young appearance of Mewtwo, while it works, it makes this picture a tad bit more disturbing. Instead of getting a dark, brooding mind, he looks more like a victim. Not your aim, but still has that dark atmosphere about it.

Say, what kind of pictures do you draw with pastels? did you upload them on your da account?

I can't even remember the last time I actually used them, same goes for most of my traditional media. Never have the time to sit down and make a mess with them, I guess. Ones with pastels, let's see: [link] and [link] . Use to use them a lot, but it dropped out of favor for me since those two pictures, for example, are full blown canvas size. I used pastels to cover the ground the pencil crayons could not.

heh i knew these pictures before, but did not notice they were done with pastels. they work much better with bright colors.

Actually, Mewtwo looking kinda small helps the concept. NO, really, I'm not kissing up or offering false flattery, I'm giving you an honest review. If you've seen the delete scene with Mewtwo and Amber (Ai), then you know that Mewtwo's anguish started when he was a "child". Later, when he's fully developed, he acts all tough, even though inside he's hurting a lot (hugs him). I think Mewtwo being knda small here represents the childhood he never got to have, and the anguish he feels from taht short time with Amber.
Just my thoughts. ^^
