Is he holding a sword ? I can definitely see a sword, most people see something is attached to his arm or something. Sky and composition of the concept is really good I can see where you are going with this, almost feels like post-apo world, only bit lighter not so gloomy.
One of the critic's said something about sun glare, and to like reduce it for better impact of the character on the viewer, I honestly think it should be removed completely and just added bit more white noise to the distance so the composition seems more like an epic scale. Sun glare indicates most of the times like the camera is moving, yet here you have a still shot of the character and nothing really going on, maybe he is going to a fight or been to one or just chillin. Anyways those are my two cents.
Overall really pro level work. I love it. Cheers

The piece has an almost tragic air to it, as if something of great significance has come to pass for better or worse and the namesake warrior of the piece has been granted a moment's respite after the events that have transpired.
The lighting intensification across the piece lends itself nicely to the somber air while at the same time giving a sense of hope as the black birds take off towards the rising sun and the promise of something new and better to come.
Overall the piece carries the weight of its emotions nicely and leaves the viewer with a sense of the combined solemnity of the moment and the possibilities that may lie ahead for the seemingly worn warrior who is catching their momentary rest before continuing onwards to whatever may lie ahead of them.

This is a fantastic image. Pro level. There are really minor things that need to be addressed.
First its the object next to the characters' right arm. At first I wasn't sure what exactly it is, then I thought it was his arm sticking out, then realized its attached to his arm. It might be accurate to the character, but confusing to the viewer so maybe lose the object. There is also a flare to the bottom left of the image that is drawing my eye to it and taking the focus away from the main character. This might be technically accurate but I would say lower the intensity of it so the viewer's eye can go to the characters.
That's it really. These are minor issues that can be easily resolved. This is pro level work showing off excellent painting and concept skills.

How come, I haven't told you how much i like this art yet?
I spend most of my free time browsing art.
I'm following about 500 different artists on 3 different art sites. I have an art collection folder containing +15.000 pieces or art i consider good.
And yet: it is rare i see something this great.
This surely belongs to the top 1% of art there is. It's a 10/10 among 10/10s.
TL;DR not the best thing ever, but dangerously close.

the only thing about this that confuses me is where is the weapon resting. the things I really like about this is the way the character leans in a very tired way the pose is probably the best it could get in my opinion. I like the way buildings lead the eye to the warrior. I also like the way the muted colours reinforce the tiredness of the warrior as well. all in all my favorite thing is the level of emotion that comes from this

The devestated land, the sunset, the tired appearance of the heavily armored individual...brilliant piece.

One other comment is I love how you've portrayed the warrior's emotion without showing the face. This also allows the viewer to imagine the character as they like which I believe is a powerful art tool in making a picture appealing. Either way...well done. Thank you for posting this.
