EDIT: I changed some other stuff on the real version so I added the reflection after all. Plus I am proud of myself and I just plain want to show off X3

EDIT: This is probably the most advanced version of the cover I'll give you guys, although maybe I'll add some shine on the pool... (I never post the 100% complete version) I finally feel like I have enough freakin' trees.

EDIT: I need a lot more green mess. :T I need more foliage and possibly some bushes, long grasses, some flowers, and it needs to be in shade under the trees. I've still not shaded the bg trees and I have kinda done them like I do mountains, which... isn't right, unless it's misty. Maybe I'll make it misty X3

EDIT: Took a break and my mojo is coming back, so today I shaded the leaves~
I also altered the moss and added more leaves in the foreground.

EDIT: and today Alicia hates: shading trees.
I haven't finished the leaves yet, but eh. It looks a bit rubbish zoomed in, so sorry about that, but the viewing distance is 16.6% of the full size, It's the print size I'm looking at. I'm still not 100% happy with the bark, but eeeeeh it'll do for now. I have so much else to get on with first.

EDIT: I took a break from trees to shade rocks. It turns out I also hate shading rocks. I don't feel like drawing more leaves just yet, so I'll probably shade the foreground tree next... The rocks still need touching up a little I think, but one improvement at a time.

EDIT: All I did all day was draw leaves >T Probably gonna be another day or two of leaves, ugh.

EDIT: I have something to work with properly now. I still do need to add more leaves but I couldn't face it today :T I've still avoided shading anything in case it turns out to be a waste of time when I then have to delete or cover it with something else.

EDIT: I don't want to shade the tree until I'm happy with the leaves so maybe this will happen never?? I also don't want to add a background until the leaves are done... and depressingly, it will probably be MORE LEAVES ugh.

Still needs more leaves on the actual tree first. References aren't helping much, in fact I spent much of today doing a bad job by trying to follow the reference too closely.

It's better than it was I guess??

I don't normally post WIPs, but since this will be complicated and take quite some time, I thought I might as well?

I never post the 100% finished image, I usually leave something out, but I'll get it as finished as I can.

It'll be the usual - the VDBiF cover template with this image.

I have soooo many leaves to draw. Have I mentioned I hate drawing trees lately?
