The backround came from a video demo release called gas station. You can the public release version of that video demo a nvidia .com go to the Nzone area and search for video/demo.

Yep, it is. I got a honorable mention, in a Nvidia Wallpaper/Screen saver contest for the introduction of the Geforce fx 5900 Ultra's. Kinda got a job too, contract work sorta, anyways.. Gotta run,

Its a screen shot from the video "gas station" that is a Nvidia release. The cobra was added later by me. It was entered in a wallpaper contest at Nvidia and recieved honorable mention. Because of personal/professional ties with nvidia, I have permission. But with that granted to me, I submit all my work to them first. That way they decided where or not the Nvidia name can be used.

I've been meaning to get the original out for a while now. It's on one of two drives that are sitting in my desk drawer. I'm pretty busy for the next couple weeks but I have to swap my video card out some time this week so I'll put your name on my list and send it to ya real soon. Thanks, I took a screen shot for a nvidia video(with permission of course) and added the cobra. I resubmitted to them but they never released it officially. I'm going to check that link you provided right after this,Thanks again.

I've been subcontracting (60hrs a month, very part-time)with them since late 2001. I submitted a"joke"(anti A T I themed) wallpaper/cartoon to the employee E-news letter and N-Zone soon after I started and have been contributing to them both ever since. The cobra was added to a screen shot from the Nvidia Gas station video. That video and a demo by the same name are the only official Nvidia releases. Any thing I release on my own requires me to note company owership, hence "by permission". If you have anyother question please feel free to contact me. Thanks

Unfortunately, some time before 2005 ATI user are gonna hear how they have been mislead and done right lied too. The idea that everything is as it seems, just couldn't hold up. I can't say anything more, do to the fair trade agreement etc... and other personal circumstances....
