Finally finished coloring that old ass sketch of Kanaya in her belly dancing outfit.Yes this is a headcanon of mine: she knows how to belly dance and has a hot ass outfit but she hates it because a) it makes her feel degraded and objectified and b) she feels the outfit and act of belly dancing are too much a throwback to bloodcaste-based slavery.

Very nice! One doesn't really associate Kanaya-chan with a vigorous form of dancing but you managed to make it work here! The dress has enough soft trimmings to give the drapery a organic, living feel with each bold movement and it's a very nice effort that she has slightly "altered" her physique to fit a flowing, hypnotic dance style with smooth curves and uniform flow of body contours... this adds some reality that one's physique can be changed and gives multi-facet to characterization. And this proves you're great with realizing figures within crisp linework! Love it!

Well my headcanon body type for Kanaya is kind of a softer curvier more bottom-heavy physique than seems to be popular with the fandom, so there's that. But I'm really glad you like it so much!

Thank you! I was so worried about the color scheme not working. It was totally different originally. It was a garish combination of different shades of green and it was just hideous. I'm glad I changed it to red.
