Agreed!

Picard likes the Stargazer!

Picard: The first ship that I ever served on as Captain, was the Stargazer. It was underpowered, overworked vessel, always on the verge of flying apart at the seems. In every measurable sense, my Enterprise is superior. But there are times where I'd give almost anything to command the Stargazer again.

Scotty: Aye. It's just like the first time you ever fall in love. You never love a woman quite like that again. Well to the Enterprise and the Stargazer. Old girlfriends we'll never meet again.

Indeed. I'm sure Bert Raccoon will be saying the same thing about the Evergreen when he's retired and Cindy's off commanding her own ship.

Hello:

Β 4 Decks? It is easy to understimate the ammount of things you can actually put inside the saucer of any Starfleet ship, despite they are all usually been considered small when compared to other franchises.

Hello:

Β Adding to my comment, I found a video talking about the size of the Constitution class and habitable space -> www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAsD7D…

Oh yeah! And since that era had Starfleet ships closer to today's military ships (specially compared to TNG-era ships) so even more things they can accomodate.
