This Dryad bears the weight of what seems a miniature world upon her back. The support and welfare of the beings who inhabit those towers are hers to nourish with the flow of life's sap through her branches and leaves. Their soul is the song that spirals up through the foliage from her heart.

As with your card with the figure playing the piano that is fused into the tree, this is a wonderful example of organically fusing/melding the character into the scene to portray the meaning of the card. I enjoy that approach. As I mentioned elsewhere, this card resonates the most with me of any card in any deck, to the way I am, the way my life has been. I like the way, too, that the wands are integrated into the painting. Again, it's done in an organic way. Usually wands/the tool of a given element are separate of themselves, like a wand held by a person, a chalice raised by someones hand. It's nice to see a different approach, and one that is one very organically to fuse into the picture so naturally.

I have this tarot deck and when I saw the thumbnail for this deviation, my first thought was, "Oh sh*t, somebody copied, they better have credited Stephanie!"
Also, I wanted to tell you that the whole deck is absolutely phenomenal- I'm in love with all the little details, especially all the hidden faires and the red ribbons.
