Well, another commission. I was asked to do something "little sad", but while drawing this I felt actually cruel for the idea.Emily BrownxSeverus Snape

I don't actually know how the love story goes exactly but I had an image of this situation in my head after being requested ( And YES I did watch the last HP-movie recently :'D)

Oh wow, the first thought that came to my mind: Wow, where did she get that informations? o.O Does she have some kind of camera installed in our rooms XD
Ok it's not exactly what we thought of in the RPG, but nontheless this is brilliant!
I have to admit that for me this wasn't very sad from the first look, because I changed the scene a bit... Like Severus would be lying in St Mungo hospital, he got treated because of the bandages and that Emily is crying because she is so lucky to know, that he's still alive, that he survived. Yeah... the moment when she realizes that he wasn't dead and that she breaks down while she is so relieved...
So it was kind of a happy image for me. Something that gives hope.
So it is very fitting with the picture below when he recovered (or I think he recovered, from his injury) and so they could start into a new life and better life. :3

You saw into the very meaning of this picture ;D I felt a bit cruel drawing this, but the idea was just too ..JUICY to waste. I think that maybe Emily has just seen his love lying there with bandages and blood, and in the lower part of the picture she's just there for Snape (who looks somehow purely happy).

and of course he looks happy, at least he has found a woman he loves and who loves him back :3

Ohhhhhh.............
YES THIS is something SAD!!!! When I saw it for the first time I was by myself so close to tears.... its very touching and hard!!!! Grrrr I shouldn't think of this part of the story where Emily think (like a lot of others too) that Severus died....
And the the memory under the first.... 
So well yes actually he doesn't in our version cause we didn't wanted and couldn't have let such a man like him die again!! ;_; It wasn't fair... Bides that he found with Emily and after his promise and duty a new reason for living. So he perpared himself with some potions ect for to survive without to let someone knows! I mean come on... in the book and most of all in the movie it was so.. um, stupid after all he was made through!!!
However... Emily first believes of course that he lost his life in this war. Remus (her best friend) came to her in a secret place of Severus which nobody can actually see...
She is crushed down and at the end of her strengths cause Snape was everything she loved and had...
But the destiny is at their side and Severus get a second chance in life with the woman he love and who never let him apart. Loyal and honestly. <3

You're very welcome. I was thinking what to draw this time and I just happened to listen some certain song and I recalled seeing something similar ( like this pic) in your gallery. It was a bit more than "a bit sad" but...well, fitting.
I found myself enjoying drawing these two, though Emily's hair is driving me crazy (I mean colouring it xD). Snape on the other hand is starting to be easier.
I remembered that you said Snape survived from the war, that fact makes the pic a bit less... crushing. xP

Hahaha yes yes welcome to my world. I have almost the same problem with her hair... >XD It coast a lot of time everytime when I decide myself to make a color-image of her. XD And yes treue. SeverusΒ΄ hair is mich more easy XD *lol*
Ah all-right.. and yes he does. But maybe we could see that drawing as a kind of "bad nightmare/ apprehension" of Emily?
